WHO WE ARE
YourFarmStats (YFS) is operated by GreensShare LLC. This policy explains how YFS handles information when you use the website and farm-record service.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
We process account details, farm and membership information, records you enter, and settings you choose. Depending on how you use YFS, farm records can include locations, mapped features, weather context, crops, hives, poultry, livestock, inventory, labor, costs, income, observations, notes, and decisions. We also retain information needed to provide support and administer subscriptions.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to operate YFS; keep farm work separated by membership and role; provide records, reminders, planning, weather context, notifications, exports, and decision-support features; process and support subscriptions; protect the service; and respond to requests. YFS recommendations and weather guidance are aids for your judgment, not automated farming decisions.
OPTIONAL PRODUCT UPDATES
If you choose to receive occasional product updates, YFS may use your email address for product news, new features, and YourFarmStats announcements. This choice is optional, does not affect the service, and can be changed in Account settings. Account verification, security, billing, and requested service messages are separate from this choice.
OPTIONAL ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING
Where enabled under the applicable privacy choice, YFS uses Microsoft Clarity on public marketing and demo pages to understand aggregate page behavior. YFS also uses Meta Pixel in the browser and Meta's Conversions API on the server to measure visits and whether advertising leads to verified registration, a genuine trial, a confirmed purchase, or first-hive activation.
Meta conversion events can include the event name and time, source page, an event identifier used to prevent duplicate reporting, IP address, browser user agent, Meta attribution identifiers (fbp and fbc) when available, hashed email and hashed internal user identifier, and purchase value and currency for a confirmed purchase. YFS does not send payment-card details to Meta. These providers process information under their own terms and retention practices.
Your available default and choices depend on location. In locations configured for prior opt-in, optional tracking stays off until you allow it. In configured opt-out locations, it may operate until you opt out. YFS honors a detected Global Privacy Control signal by disabling optional advertising tracking. You can change your choice at any time through Privacy choices in the site footer. Essential sign-in, session, security, CSRF, and requested product functions do not depend on this choice.
PUBLIC SHARE LINKS
When someone opens a public YFS share link, YFS records a coarse count using the ordinary first-party browser session so the person who made the link can see aggregate opens. Common social-preview crawlers are excluded. YFS does not store the visitor's IP address, fingerprint, or a visitor list for this feature. If that browser session later creates an account, YFS records the originating share link for aggregate registration and verification counts; the person who shared the link sees counts only, never the new account's identity.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
YFS may use Cloudflare and Turnstile for security, Google Maps for map features, weather providers, Resend for transactional email, Stripe for payment processing and subscription management, Microsoft Clarity and Meta for optional measurement as described above, error-monitoring providers when configured, and hosting providers. These providers receive information needed to perform their service. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored in YFS.
LOCATION, WEATHER, AND NOTIFICATIONS
Farm and mapped-record locations are used to show maps and provide weather context. Device location is requested only when you choose a location action; YFS does not use background geofencing. Email and browser notifications are controlled by your settings where those features are available.
SHARING AND ACCESS
Farm records are available to the people you invite to that farm according to the role and financial-access permissions you set. We do not sell farm records or personal information. We may disclose information when required to comply with law, protect users or the service, or complete a business transfer where permitted by law.
RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES
You can manage farm members, notifications, and account details in YFS. Available export tools let eligible accounts download a copy of selected farm data. Account deletion disables the login and removes account identity details; shared farm records may remain so another member does not lose operational history. Contact us to ask about privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests.
SECURITY
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the service, but no internet service is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, API keys, or other secrets by email.
